Accenture and Anthropic partner on AI-driven cybersecurity operations, ETCISO
Accenture has launched Cyber.AI, a cybersecurity solution powered by Anthropic’s Claude model, aimed at helping organizations use AI-driven capabilities across security operations.
The solution combines Accenture’s proprietary agents with Claude to support activities across the cybersecurity lifecycle, including design, deployment, detection and response. It also includes Agent Shield, a capability intended to help organizations protect, identify, monitor and govern autonomous AI agents in real time.
Claude functions as the reasoning engine within Cyber.AI, helping synthesize security data and support analysis, decision-making and automated workflows. The system also includes governance and control mechanisms designed to align AI agent activity with organizational policies and risk thresholds.
The launch comes as organizations face rising AI-related cyber risks. According to the World Economic Forum’s Global Cyber Outlook Report 2026, produced in collaboration with Accenture, nearly nine in 10 organizations identify AI-related vulnerabilities as the fastest-growing cyber risk.
Cyber.AI is designed to automate specific cybersecurity tasks through AI-driven workflows across areas such as identity security, cyber defense, secure digital core and cyber resiliency.
Accenture said it has also deployed Cyber.AI internally across its IT environment to secure 1,600 applications and more than 500,000 APIs. According to the company, scan turnaround times fell from three to five days to under one hour, testing coverage increased from about 10% to more than 80%, and service delivery improved by 35%, contributing to cost reductions.
