Barracuda Networks announced updates to its BarracudaONE cybersecurity platform and its partner program.

The platform updates focus on three areas:

Email security for Google Workspace: Barracuda Email Protection now includes expanded impersonation protection and automated incident response for Google Workspace, in addition to existing support for Microsoft 365.

Network edge security: Barracuda SecureEdge Access adds a cloud-delivered secure service edge offering that combines secure internet access, zero trust application access, firewall-as-a-service, and policy controls for generative AI usage.

Generative AI risk visibility: Barracuda AI Security adds visibility into generative AI usage, including shadow AI activity monitoring, risk scoring, policy enforcement, and centralized dashboards.

Barracuda also updated its partner program by combining MSPs and resellers into a single framework. The changes include unified tiering, revised rebates, updated certification tracks, a new mastery program, and an AI-powered partner portal with onboarding, deal registration, dashboards, learning paths, MDF tracking, and access to co-brandable assets.
